Child Care Management Design & Training creates and implements systems for effective management of child care facilities, out of school programs and their businesses. We provide services to existing centers, corporations, programs and sites in need of management assistance, training and creative out-reach; as well as assisting individuals or agencies opening child care centers helping with RFP’s.
Elizabeth Shedd, Master of Management with concentrations in Organizational Development and Diversity from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Science in Education. Combined with extensive professional experience in licensing, personnel training development and leadership, operations, strategic planning of multi-site facilities, program research and development. Elizabeth has over twenty years of diversified experience in education and is an experienced administrator with proven management ability in re-establishing marginal facilities, long and short term planning, center and staff development, computer implementation for operational and financial management, marketing and public relations, center acquisitions and start-ups. Her approach towards Education and Management is communication and team based taking into consideration the needs of the individuals involved.
Amy Garbaczeski has a Masters of Education from Cambridge College with a concentration in Multiple Intelligences. Amy's Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston College features a Triple Major in Early,Elementary and Special Needs Education, with a minor in Psychology. Additionally, Amy holds A Harvard University Certificate in Infant/Toddler Education. For over 30 years, Amy has taught in both the public and private sectors. From Pre-K programs to the Secondary years, Amy has instructed all grade levels, in all subject areas, and within "inclusive" settings. Amy has developed innovative, integrated curriculums in Literary, Math/Science, Community Awareness and the Creative Arts. Amy has sponsored initiatives and mentored colleagues on alternative, holistic and portfolio assessment systems. In recent years, Amy has specialized in educating and advocating for Autistic Spectrum Disorder students,+/or their families. As an educational consultant, Amy has worked on environmental and program design,licensing, staff training, curriculum and assessment tools and state regulations compliance, within the Early Childhood and School Age sectors of Boston.
Jeffrey Doretti has a Master's degree in Education from Cabrini College and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communication from Boston College. For over fifteen years, Jeff has educated students ranging from infants all the way through college age. He established 6 Fortune 500 corporate child care facilities, as well as starting up 31 neighborhood schools nationwide. His job entailed securing community support and building the complete business and education infrastructure. This included recruiting and training the management and staff to eventually take over all aspects of the business. Jeff's training skill set encompasses business operations, marketing, public relations, facility design, recruiting, grant identification, grant writing, licensing, curriculum development and program evaluation. Jeffrey has consulted with CCMD&T, since 1998.
